Colored condoms can be an extremely fun addition to your sexual life.

However, flavored condoms are not recommended for vaginal penetration, as the sugar they contain always leads to fungal infections or even more severe problems.

During anal sex, you don't need to avoid colored condoms. Just make sure they are not coated with sugar or that it is not a flavored colored condom.

Colored Condoms and Oral Sex

Among all forms of sexual activity, colored condoms are most popular during oral pleasure. There visual stimulation is most evident and has the greatest effect.

With colored condoms, you can have even more fun and combine them with flavored lubricants linked to the color of the condom. For instance, use strawberry flavored lubricant with a red condom, banana flavor with a yellow one, mango flavor with an orange condom, etc...

If you are performing oral sex on a female partner, you can quickly turn a colored condom into a dental dam: Cut off the tip of the condom, then split it along its length and spread it out. This way, you get a small sheet that you spread over the vulva. Now you can safely please your partner orally as well.

How to Safely Use a Colored Condom

Make sure the condom fits well. Condoms that are too small or too large do not provide good protection.
Only use condoms whose expiration date has not passed.
Do not store condoms in the car, as it can quickly and significantly heat up. This negatively affects the quality of the condom.
If you store condoms in wallets, pockets, and purses, regularly replace them and discard the old ones, even if they have not been used.
Do not use a condom that is obviously and visibly damaged.
Never reuse a condom.
