External Cleaning

The external part of the anal opening is one of the most sensitive parts of the human body, so we assure you that stimulation without penetration will also be pleasant. How does the basic anal douche work? You detach the tip from the bulb. Fill the bulb with water (warm, not hot). Attach the tip (nozzle), lubricate it, and gently insert it into the anus. Insert the nozzle only about 5 cm deep, as you need to clean only the lowest part. Make sure it is well lubricated. For this, use a silicone-based lubricant, as water-based ones will wash away quickly. Squeeze the bottom part of the toy, as this will squirt water into the anus. Hold for a few seconds, then release the water into the toilet. Repeat the process until the water runs clear.

Bulbs are available in different sizes, allowing you to choose a douche that fits your needs. The upper part (nozzle) is even more important. Tips are available in different lengths and designs.

With this type of douche, it is essential to make sure that the parts are not only properly cleaned, but also dried after cleaning. If not, mold can develop, presenting a risk of infection.

Douche Systems

Cleaning the rectum with a shower is recommended especially for those who engage in deep penetration (fisting or with larger dildos). Shower attachments are designed to be easily attached to a bathroom shower. This provides deeper cleaning, as water from the shower comes under higher pressure. Of course, care must be taken to adjust the water pressure and ensure the temperature is not too high. Otherwise, you could injure yourself.

Bag for Anal Douching

You fill the bag with water and hang it higher than yourself. A long tube attached to it is inserted into the anus. Gravity pulls the fluid down the tube and into the rectum. Usually, the flow of water can be regulated. These products are especially suitable for travel, as you can simply fold and pack the empty bag, allowing you to engage in anal play whenever and wherever.

Is Anal Douching Safe?

You must remember that the bowel contains bacteria. Some of them are beneficial - they help the body digest food and absorb nutrients needed, so it is not recommended to rinse them out too often. If you use an anal douche too frequently, you might flush these bacteria out. However, if you use it only occasionally, you need not worry. Of course, consult a doctor if any changes occur.

Tips for using an anal douche:

• When you start with anal cleaning, a toilet should be nearby.
• Clean the douche/pump/bag thoroughly before use, as dust or other dirt can accumulate on them when not in use.
• Ensure the water is warm enough. Use only water, without soap or other cleaning agents.
• Wait 30 - 60 minutes after anal penetration before starting to ensure all water is expelled.
