If you decide to go for a latex garment, make sure to educate yourself about the care and maintenance of this high-quality, yet somewhat demanding material. Here are a few quick tips:

• Wash latex by hand in lukewarm water and air dry it.
• Store latex away from moisture, heat, and direct sunlight.
• When dressing and undressing latex, take your time and do it patiently. Don't rush, as the garment can tear despite its elasticity, and in the worst case, it can also damage you.
• All oils are harmful to latex and will destroy the material! The exception is silicone lubricants. Therefore, do not apply lotions or self-tanning creams and sprays to your body before and while wearing latex. Also, do not use olive or baby oil to help dress but use a silicone-based lubricant instead.
• While wearing latex, do not use perfumes or antiperspirants, as they often contain a mix of chemicals that can react with the material and destroy the garment.
